Upon visiting Tyson Rosage’s personal journal and portfolio, you are being met by a, what I would call, the perfect index page.
The header is absolutely stunning, with a great logo, a really cool and colorful navigation, some flowers (doesn’t everyone just love flowers?) and a pair of Vans shoes (?!). There is a also a discreet badge stating that this is version 4.
“This site serves as the central place to view my latest work as well as a place to get the latest on what’s on the my mind.”
While I was traveling through the site, I began to realize something. This site is perfect. Nothing new under the sun here, it uses almost the same elements as every other portfolio / blog. But just check that sidebar on the about page out! In my eyes, it is just really stunning.
Another plus in my book is the fact that it is still really usable with css turned off. Way to go!
A great detail on the front and about pages are the “notebook” style background. It doesn’t just look good, it also makes the text easier to follow.
I think that Tyson Rosage has come really close to design perfection.
