First of all, I want to say that I really dig Jonathan’s reboot.
I like the vivid green colors, I like the layout, and I even like the comment section.
The little “about” thingy on the front page is also really good, I mean the one with Jonathan and some sunbeams. I actually think that I can’t find anything wrong with the design itself. But I have to say, there is a couple of usability issues.
Not that they are big ones, but on an almost perfect site like that, I have to find the mistakes. Number one is in firefox. It’s when you click outside of the “content”, all the text on the page gets highlighted. I have no idea why, but it surely bugs me. Number two and three is the “lightbulb” button and the <—button. They are just not clearly enough. As I said, they are really minor mistakes, if you can even call them mistakes.
I am not too sure on the whole header. I mean the Snook.ca logo, and the two blue things. It just feels a little unnecessary. But I guess the blue breakes it up a little bit.
